Valentino Castellani
Professor Emeritus at the Politecnico, former Mayor of Turin and President of the Organizing Committee for the Turin 2006 Winter Olympics.
Born in 1940, he graduated in Electronics from the Politecnico di Torino and holds a Master's from MIT. He was a Professor of Electrical Communications and Pro-Rector at the Politecnico. He served as Mayor of Turin from 1993 to 2001 and presided over the Turin 2006 Olympic Committee. He currently chairs the Interfaith Committee of Turin.
