Nadia Conticelli

Teacher, journalist and regional councilor in Piedmont.

Graduated in Classical Literature, she attended research internships at the University of London and the Sorbonne in Paris. She is a Latin and literary subjects teacher at the Gioberti Classical and Linguistic High School in Turin and mother of three daughters. Journalist, editor for local newspapers, she has collaborated with national newspapers and magazines, local radio and TV and worked professionally as a press officer. From 2006 to 2009 she was president of the Environment and Culture Commissions and then vice-president of the Circoscrizione 6 of Turin. From 2011 she was its president and, until 2013, she was coordinator of the Assembly of District Presidents of Turin. She has been politically active with the Democratic Party since its founding, particularly on issues of gender policies, integration, security policies and transportation. In 2014 she was elected to the Regional Council where, until May 2019, she was president of the II Commission (Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Residential Building, Transport and Roads, Public Works and Communications). In 2021 she was elected city councilor of the City of Turin where she holds the position of group leader of the Democratic Party council group. Since March 2023 she is president of the PD Piedmont Regional Assembly. In the 2024 elections she was elected for the second time to the Regional Council in the proportional quota in the Turin constituency.
