Mirko Ferretti

A true native of Alessandria, born in 1935, Ferretti played professional football between the 1950s and 1960s. In over ten seasons, he wore the jerseys of Como, Catania, Fiorentina, Torino, and Alessandria. After hanging up his boots, he attended the coaching course at Coverciano. After his first benches in the lower divisions, he coached Torino's youth team and in 1976-77 was called to take on the role of assistant to Gigi Radice (the coach of the last Granata championship). The experience as "second" continued in the 1980s with Bologna and Milan. He concluded his career in football as a scout.
