Marco Travaglini

Born in 1957, originally from Baveno on Lake Maggiore, he lives in Turin where he worked at the Resistance and Constitution Committee of the Piedmont Regional Council. A freelance journalist since 1982, he has written for the newspapers L'Unità, La Prealpina and Il Riformista and contributes to numerous periodicals and magazines. Author of fiction and non-fiction, he is a member of GISM, the Italian group of mountain writers. From 2005 to 2010 he served as regional councilor of Piedmont in the 8th legislature.
