Igor Piotto

Born in Turin in 1968. Graduated in Political Science, in 1998 he obtained his PhD in the disciplinary field of Economic Sociology at the University of Teramo. Since 2001 he has collaborated with CGIL Turin as a researcher and head of the Studies Office. Since November 2013 he has been General Secretary of the Turin Chamber of Labor. From May 2010 to December 2022 he was president of the Foundation for the European School of Excellence of the Piedmont Region. Author of numerous publications on labor market transformations and industrial relations. He teaches Labor Sociology at the University of Turin.
