Giancarlo Rapetti
Lawyer, former executive (banks, Italia '90) and former mayor.

Born in Predosa, in the province of Alessandria, in 1947, he pursued his university studies in Turin, where he graduated in Law and obtained the qualification to practice as a lawyer. He served as an Infantry Officer. His professional experience was mainly distributed between Cassa di Risparmio di Torino and BNL (Banca Nazionale del Lavoro), first in Legal then in Organization, with work locations in Turin and Rome. In the Organizing Committee of the FIFA World Cup Italy '90, directed by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo, he headed the administrative structure that managed public access in all Italian stadiums. He participated in working groups at the Bank of Italy and the Supreme Court of Cassation. He was Vice President of ATIVA (Turin-Ivrea-Valle d'Aosta Highway and Turin Ring Road) and member of the board of auditors of SITO (Turin Interport Company). He was City Councilor and then Mayor (from 2014 to 2019) of Predosa. He is part of the National Assembly of Azione.
