Aida Dell'Oglio
Former literature teacher, author and civic activist.

Born in San Severo, in the province of Foggia, she studied in various parts of Italy, then obtaining her classical high school diploma at the G. Nolfi High School in Fano, in the Marche region. University studies in Trieste, where she graduated in Classical Literature, followed years later by a three-year Master's degree in Lasallian Education Sciences at the Pontifical Academy of Rome. A teacher in Turin since 1970, first at the G. Segrè Scientific High School and subsequently, from 1980, at the V. Gioberti Classical High School. After retiring, she cultivated her passion for writing by publishing three novels. Amateur painter and occasional columnist. She currently teaches Italian to immigrants at the San Giuseppe College, dedicates herself to piano studies and is part of the Parish Choir of S. Giulio d'Orta. She is one of the organizers of the "Save the maples of Corso Belgio" Committee.
